Soul

Motown, soul, R&B inspired. I love these songs, deeply inspired since childhood. These are special because it's uncommon for me to do portrait based pieces. The photos were very influential. I was inspired once night by the title and artist mismatch for this series after listening to the songs. Though these artists and songs aren't related, I wanted to choose album covers that stuck with me through the years, and the dissonance felt right.
